Tattoos have lately grown as a widespread furor among the younsgsters. Usually popular among bikers and seamens, tattoing and piercing have now crept as a fun filled and adventurous practise for a large part of the American population. One in eight Americans has a tattoo and 40% come under the age group of 20 to 25. But there is a bitter and alarming facet to this craze. Tattoing can result in some extremely grave skin problems because most of the tatto artists are not hygine conscious and use unsterelised needles and piercing tools. Thus, skin diseases, like abnormal sweling, rashes etc. can occur. Worse still, since the needle gets pirced into the blood cells, blood borne diseases are also likely to sprout up.
So is it really worth it?
