Slide 2 : . CASE SUMMARY : An 56 yrs female transferred from Apollo hospital with k/c/o DM/HTN/IHD with h/o Liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension since 2009 with HBeAg positive, ANA ASMA - positive, Patient had Cholecystectomy in 1997 had h/o allergy to aldactone. She had h/o bleeding haemorrhoids, hyponitremia and hepatic encephalopathy since (27/08/10 to 07/09/10 )
Slide 3 : . Cirrhosis of liver Cirrhosis implies irreversible liver damage. Histologically there is loss of hepatic architecture with fibrosis and nodular regeneration.
Slide 4 : . Etiological factors : Chronic alcohol HBV, HCV, Infection Auto immuno disease Interlobular bile ducts are damaged by chronic granulomatous inflammation causing progressive choleostasis, cirrhosis portal hypertension
