What is an Energy Drink? An energy drink is a beverage which is intended to enhance mental or physical energy. There are myriad brands and varieties are available of these energy drinks.

Bitter Truth Traditionally, these beverages are believed to contain large amounts of caffeine and many other stimulants. Many also contain sugar or other sweeteners, and may or may not be carbonated.

Bitter Truth These energy drinks are believed to provide a temporary energy boost. The boost is short-lived and may have repercussions of certain other health issues.

Bitter Truth Fatigue may indicate towards a sign of some underlying medical condition, such as hypothyroidism or anemia.

Additional Disadvantages Alochol when clubbed with energy drinks may have even more problematic effects. Energy drinks with alcohol can undermine the sense of intoxication, which may result in binge drinking and alcohol-related injuries.

Precautions Drinking these energy drinks ocassionally is fine, but, if you are a regular drinkers, then try to limit yourself to about 500 milliliters of these drinks in a day.
